Single-Piece PTFE Tanks

Featuring single-piece construction, these PTFE Tanks outlast fabricated or assembled tanks because there are no pins, screws, or dovetails that can loosen and trap impurities. Machined to specification, PTFE Tanks are available in standard sizes or can be custom-made in larger sizes.

Because PTFE is chemically inert and unaffected by acids below 300°C, PTFE Tanks are ideal for concentrated and/or headed acids and fit into the sink recess of laminar flow stations.

**PTFE Characteristics**
	Zero Moisture Absorption: <0.01 over 24 hrs.
	Low Coefficient of Friction: .05-.08 static against polished steel
	Chemically Inert and Corrosion-Resistant: Excellent resistance to all chemicals except fluorine, which is considered good
	High Service Temperature: 240°C Maximum continuous, 320° to 340°C melting point
